Ingredients:
1 pkt wanton wrappers
500 g chicken mince
260 g raw prawn meat finely chopped
1-2 spring onions finely sliced
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Oil
Vegetable oil for frying
Sauce:
1/3 cup Ketjap Manis
1 Tbsp Manuka Honey MGO 30
2 Tbsp Rice wine Vinegar
1 Tbsp Tomato ketchup
1 Tbsp Sesame oil
Chilli flakes to taste (Optional)
1 spring onion chopped
Method – Sauce
1. Add all the ingredients to a jar or shaker and shake until combined.
Method:
- Combine the chicken and prawn meat in a large bowl, add the Soy sauce, Sesame oil and spring onions and mix thoroughly until fully combined and almost a paste like consistency.
- To the middle of each wanton wrapper, place a small amount of the mince. Brush the top and the right hand side of the wrapper with a little water and fold the wanton into a triangle shape.
- Seal the edges making sure to press out any air pockets.
- Position the wanton so that one point is at the top and two points at the bottom like a pyramid shape. Moisten the two bottom points and fold them into the middle to meet and press them together.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer or deep saucepan and cook the wantons until crispy and brown.
